Post: Transportation Challenges During Royal Wedding Procession Addressed in Media Conference

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - The Ministry of Education recently addressed issues related to transportation during the royal wedding procession at a media conference. Dr. Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education, elaborated on the logistics and challenges faced by participants.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ministry implemented two transportation methods for the event, involving point-to-point and shuttle pick-up services, utilizing a fleet of 334 buses. However, heavy traffic congestion posed difficulties for the smooth movement of these buses. On the topic of food inspection SOPs, a team of 50 individuals was deployed to inspect food supplies from various suppliers. They identified spoiled bread early in the morning, but the supplier could only partially replace it due to time constraints. Regarding the early arrival of students, she clarified that the timing was dependent on the distance from educational institutions to designated bus locations. The Ministry of Education issued an apology for any inconvenience caused.
