Bandar Seri Begawan — In a significant diplomatic engagement, the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, His Excellency Dr Jose Ramos-Horta, commenced a four-day State Visit to Brunei Darussalam last night, marking his first visit to the nation in his current presidential term.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Excellency was received by a high-level delegation, including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development; along with His Excellency Wan Hadfi Lutfan bin Haji Abdul Latif and His Excellency Abel Gueterres, ambassadors to and from Timor-Leste, respectively.
