The Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) of Brunei Darussalam is hosting a three-day workshop on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) at a hotel in the capital.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop is attended by Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut, the Permanent Secretary for Safety and Welfare at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The event aims to bring together government and industry stakeholders to discuss the current state of occupational safety and health at work, key aspects of OSH policy, and national OSH programs. The workshop also features presentations on the ILO supervisory system and actions related to international labour standards, the roles of employers and workers in workplace safety and health, and the implementation of ILO conventions related to OSH.
