Temporary Closure of Services at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital
Belait: Several clinic services at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital are temporarily closed following flash floods that hit several areas in Belait District. The one-day closure is depending on weather conditions. The measure was taken to ensure the safety of patients, carers, and the public.
According to Radio Television Brunei, among the affected services are the Orthopaedic Clinic; Eye Clinic; Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinic; Audiology Clinic; Dietetic Clinic; Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic; and Paediatric Clinic. To address the situation, the hospital will implement several measures, namely closing the affected areas for the safety of the public. Patients who have appointments with the affected clinics will be contacted and rescheduled to another date. Meanwhile, patients who require urgent treatment will be treated at designated places.
