Tutong: The month of Ramadan continues to be enlivened with religious activities, allowing worshippers to reap multiple rewards promised by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, along with its departments, organized a Tadarus Al-Qur'an Programme at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town on the afternoon of March 8th. This event was a collaborative effort by the Brunei History Centre and the Museums Department, in conjunction with the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque Takmir Committee.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the recitation began with Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. This was followed by the reading of Al-Qur'an verses. The programme was scheduled to coincide with the breaking of the fast and the fardhu Maghrib prayer, marking a momentous occasion for attendees during the holy month.
