Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei - A delegation from Brunei's Syariah Court, under the State Judiciary Department, has embarked on a visit to the Republic of Singapore. The delegation, led by Syariah High Court Judge Yang Arif Awang Haji Hassan bin Haji Metali, will attend a conference and participate in the 65th Anniversary celebrations of the Republic of Singapore Syariah Court.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the conference will also include representatives from the Republic of Indonesia and Malaysia. This gathering aims to strengthen ties and collaboration in the field of Syariah judiciary among the participating countries. The event presents an opportunity for these nations to enhance their understanding and cooperation in matters related to Islamic law and its application within their respective legal frameworks.
