Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University Hosts Regional Oratory Competition in Arabic Language
Bandar Seri Begawan: Four participants competed in the final of the Regional Oratory Competition in Arabic Language organized by Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA, through the Arabic Language Faculty. Held physically for the first time, the competition featured both local and foreign participants. The event also included a prize presentation for the Arabic Language Festival 2024, taking place at the university on the afternoon of February 15.
According to Radio Television Brunei, prizes and certificates were handed over by His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al-Buraithin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the country. The competition, held in conjunction with World Arabic Language Day, aims to empower the mastery of the Arabic language specifically in Brunei Darussalam. The event was also attended by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, the Rector of UNISSA.
