Sultan of Brunei Arrives in Peru for State Visit and Economic Meeting.
LIMA: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has arrived in Lima, Republic of Peru, for a State Visit scheduled for November 12th to 13th, 2024. His Majesty is also set to attend the 31st Asia-Pacific Economic Leaders’ Meeting on November 15th to 16th, 2024. Accompanying His Majesty is His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival at the Jorge Chávez International Airport, His Majesty was warmly welcomed by His Excellency Gustavo Lino Adrianzén, the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Peru. In attendance were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Serbini bin Haji Ali, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the United States of America,
who also serves as the Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Republic of Peru.
