The Vaccination Programme for Students aged 12 to 17 which commenced on the 8th of November is running smoothly. The Minister of Education in a Media Conference shared that 37,089 students or 97 percent comprising of students studying at schools and educational institutions under the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs and private schools as well as international schools were involved in the programme.
The Minister of Education also said that for students who are unable to attend according to the schedule, it is advisable to contact their respective schools for further processing and also help students to get vaccinated. Yang Berhormat also informed that the next phase of the students vaccination programme for the second dose will take place on Monday, the 6th of December 2021. The schedule and implementation for the second dose will be distributed to parents and stakeholders through the respective schools in the near future.
