Bandar Seri Begawan: Islam encourages the ummah to be diligent in every job they do. This was among the matters underlined in a tazkirah or talk during a Special Munajat in conjunction with the International Customs Day. With the theme 'Customs Delivering on its Commitment to Efficiency, Security, and Prosperity,' the event was held at Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Kampung Manggis/ Madang.
According to Radio Television Brunei, joining the programme was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy, and Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal. The Munajat Night's 170th edition was joined by officers and staff of the Royal Customs and Excise Department, Ministry of Finance and Economy, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and its departments. Also joining virtually were teachers and students from religious schools under the Islamic Studies Department.
