Speaker of Legislative Council Discusses Job Opportunities and Strategic Partnerships

Bandar seri begawan: Providing job opportunities for the young generation, utilizing modern technology through Artificial Intelligence, and exploring collaboration in enhancing connectivity, eco-tourism, and trade in halal products were key topics discussed by the Speaker of the Legislative Council during separate courtesy calls from the Vice President and Country Chair of Shell Companies in Brunei Darussalam, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam. The meetings took place at Dewan Majlis Building.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib first received a courtesy call from Mr. Henry Bristol, Vice President and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Brunei Darussalam. Discussions during the call emphasized the strategic relationship and ongoing cooperation between Shell Companies and Brunei in supporting economic development, particularly in the energy sector.

The Speaker also received a courtesy call from His Excellency Chey Ratha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cambodia to the country. The discussions highlighted the close relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Cambodia, focusing on areas of cooperation between the legislatures of both countries. Also present was Datin Paduka Doctor Dayang Hajah Huraini binti Pehin Orang Kaya Setia Jaya Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hurairah, Clerk To The Privy Council, Secretary To The Cabinet Ministers’ Council, and Clerk To The Legislative Council.
