Single Mother Empowerment Project Launched to Alleviate Financial Burden.

Kampung Kiulap: In helping single mothers who are yet to be employed to alleviate the financial burden in supporting their families and dependents, the ‘Memperkasa Ibu Tunggal’ Project was launched on the morning of 30th November. The event took place at a hotel in Kampung Kiulap.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Rosmawatty binti Haji Abdul Momin, a member of the Legislative Council. It is a Community Outreach Project under the Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers Cohort 31 organised by the Civil Service Institute. The project aims to provide opportunities for single mothers to obtain jobs that suit their abilities in companies with flexible working hours.
