Bootcamp Project: The Ministry of Education, through the Department of Special Education, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Innovation Centre, conducted a Prize Presentation Ceremony and Demo Day for the Third Bootcamp Project for Pre-Vocational Students Programme. The event was held at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Corporate at the Ministry of Education, the program was a success, highlighting the talents and skills of sixty-eight special needs students from seventeen government secondary schools. The initiative aimed to educate these students in entrepreneurship and innovation, underlining the importance of integrating special needs education with practical skill development. The Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School and Katok Secondary School were recognized for their outstanding achievements in the 'Most Creative' and 'Most Independent' categories, respectively. This project underscores the Ministry's commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, particularly those with special needs.
