Kiulap: Twenty orphans and children from certain groups received donations and zakat or tithe at the Sentuhan Kasih Syawal ceremony, organised by SMFZ Event Planner and Management, Kencana Laila Entertainment, and Impian Cahaya Iman Project. The event took place at a caf© in Kiulap, 17th April afternoon.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the donations were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council. The ceremony aimed to encourage the culture of sharing blessings and to foster a sense of compassion among members of the community. A presentation of contributions was also held for two outstanding students in the fields of academics and Al-Qur'an memorisation, serving as encouragement for them to continue pursuing knowledge.
