BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The academic calendar for the year 2025 has been officially released, detailing a total of 200 school days spread across four terms. The schedule also includes 73 days of holidays, strategically placed throughout the year to coincide with significant cultural events and school breaks.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the first school term will consist of 48 days, concluding on March 15. Students will then enjoy a holiday that aligns with Ramadhan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, from March 16 to April 4. School resumes for the second term on April 5, lasting 49 days until June 14. A brief 8-day holiday will follow, from June 15 to June 22.
The third term will be the shortest, comprising 33 days from June 23 to August 9. This will be followed by a 13-day break from August 10 to August 22. The final school term of the year is scheduled for 70 days, starting on August 23 and concluding on November 29. A lengthy holiday will then commence, lasting from November 30 until December 31.
The school calendar aims to balance academic rigor with ample rest periods, ensuring students have time to recharge and participate in cultural festivities.
