Royal Brunei Airlines Relaunches Flights to Balikpapan, Enhancing Connectivity

Jerudong: The relaunch of flights to Balikpapan, Indonesia by Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) marks a significant step in strengthening ties between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Indonesia, while also demonstrating RB’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity. To commemorate this occasion, a reception was held in Jerudong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event saw the presence of notable figures including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mohd Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, the Minister of Development and Chairman of RB, as well as His Excellency Professor Doctor Achmad Ubaedillah, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Brunei Darussalam. The Brunei-Balikpapan route is scheduled to operate twice weekly, with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
