Bandar Seri Begawan - The annual tadarus ceremony, a hallmark of Ramadan observance involving the communal reading of the Quran, concluded on the night of April 6th at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan. This event, organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, marked the end of a series of religious activities held across mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Closing of Tadarus and Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony featured Tadabbur Al-Qur'an, a reflection on the Quran's teachings, and was a collaboration between the Administration Department, the Mosque Affairs Department, the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque Takmir Committee, and Radio Television Brunei.
