Kampung sinaut: Following a landslide incident at the Luagan Kelumpang Muslim Cemetery in Kampung Sinaut, Tutong District, the public is temporarily prohibited from entering the cemetery area. The landslide, which took place on January 9, 2026, was triggered by continuous heavy rain, creating unsafe conditions that could jeopardize public safety.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the decision to prohibit entry was made during the Technical Committee Meeting for Coordination of Follow-up Actions for Landslides at Luagan Kelumpang Muslim Cemetery, Kampung Sinaut. This measure is intended as a preliminary preventive action to minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, or other incidents while the relevant authorities conduct safety assessments and further actions. The public is urged to cooperate by adhering to all issued instructions and avoiding areas marked as prohibited.
