KAMPONG KATOK — At the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam Council Meeting held on February 18th morning, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, President of the association, emphasized the incorporation of the Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy in activities. The meeting took place at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Secondary Arabic Religious School.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association of Brunei Darussalam, who welcomed Her Royal Highness, the Princess stressed the importance of leadership skills among the association's leaders and the instillation of such qualities in its members. Her Royal Highness also addressed the need for the association to adapt to technological advancements to guide the young generation of Girl Guides effectively. The council meeting focused on the association's annual activities report and the appointment of the Chief Commissioner and council members for the 2024 to 2029 session.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Da'ie Youth Volunteer Body and As-Syahadah Muallaf Youth, under the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat of the Islamic Da'wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs, conducted the 18th Ilm Series and Awareness Workshop through a Mosque Tour. This event, aimed at commemorating the Isra' Mi'raj event, took place at the Islamic Da'wah Centre, focusing on the theme 'Sembahyang Tiang Ugama'.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the 'Ilm Series included a talk titled 'Sahabat Masjid, Sahabat Da'wah dan Sahabat Ummat', which delved into the historical significance of the obligation for Muslims to perform prayers five times a day, as revealed during the events of Isra' Mi'raj. The talk emphasized the importance of mosque attendance for prayer, especially among the youth, aligning with the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Strategic Plan 2020 to 2024 mission of Effective Strong Da'wah.
