Bandar seri begawan: The Brownie Guides Day Programme, themed "Together with Brownie Guides Towards the Stars," took place on the morning of June 26th, bringing together 66 members from eight primary schools for a day filled with engaging activities aimed at empowering their identities and skills.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme focused on honing guiding skills while improving the participants' thinking, communication, and collaboration abilities through a variety of group activities. The initiative also aimed to instill discipline, confidence, and resilience in the young participants as they face future challenges. Additionally, the event sought to strengthen friendships and foster cooperation and unity among the participants.
The programme concluded in the afternoon with a Closing Ceremony at the Brunei Darussalam Girl Guides Association headquarters. The ceremony featured the presentation of prizes and certificates to winners, as well as emblems to all participants, marking the successful culmination of a day dedicated to personal development and camaraderie.
