President of Timor-Leste Advocates for Youth Exchanges at Universiti Brunei Darussalam

During his State Visit to Brunei, His Excellency Dr Jose Ramos-Horta, President of Timor Leste, emphasized the importance of educational and cultural exchanges in a meeting at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).

According to Radio Television Brunei, Vice Chancellor of UBD, the President’s visit included discussions on enhancing bilateral youth engagement and extending invitations for Timorese students to join UBD’s academic and training programs. The President also participated in a ceremonial tree planting at UBD Botanical Research Centre, fostering a gesture of growing relations between the two nations.
