Brunei: The Language and Literature Bureau, through its Research, Documentation and Recognition Division, recently organized a Photography Competition in conjunction with the 'Malam Gemilang UBD Drone Show' and Fireworks Display at Jerudong Park Garden. The prize presentation ceremony took place at the Brunei History Centre.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event saw prizes, souvenirs, and appreciation certificates being presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Awang Mohammad Suffri bin Awang Osman secured first place in Category A, while Awang Nurhazmie bin Haji Razali won in Category B. The competition aimed to provide a platform for individuals to express their views and emotions through visual and written mediums. It also sought to expand artistic appreciation and create new talents with the potential for further promotion.
