MANILA – Most regions in the Philippines are expected to experience fair weather conditions, as forecasted by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
According to Philippines News Agency, there is no low-pressure area currently being monitored and the likelihood of a tropical cyclone developing within the next three days is minimal. While most of the country will enjoy generally fair weather with isolated rain showers, Palawan is expected to face scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. These conditions may lead to possible flash floods and landslides. The northeastern part of the country, including Batanes and the Babuyan Islands, will experience isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon. Elsewhere, localized thunderstorms and easterlies will bring isolated rain showers to other areas. Wind and sea conditions in Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong with corresponding moderate to rough seas. For the rest of the country, winds are expected to be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. PAGASA also reported that the temperature in Manila peaked at 31.1 °C at 11 a.m. following a cooler 25.1 °C at 5 a.m.
