Manila - The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has pledged to enhance its services to the Filipino people, marking its 89th anniversary on October 30.
According to Philippines News Agency, Chair Junie E. Cua expressed the organization's dedication to improving its 'heartfelt service' and striving to break records in revenue generation and service reach. This commitment aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive for the agency to continually elevate how it serves the public.
Cua stated that the PCSO is focused on increasing its revenues and expanding the number of Filipinos it assists, without becoming complacent. As part of its anniversary celebrations, the PCSO has conducted medical missions and various activities across the country. Cua also expressed enthusiasm over the public's positive response to the increased minimum lotto jackpot prizes for all major lotto games, which have been set to PHP89 million since October 30 in commemoration of the anniversary. Recent significant wins include a lone bettor from Nueva Vizcaya winning the Lotto 6/42 draw with a prize of PHP102,254,379.40 on November 4, and another from Quezon City claiming the 6/45 draw on November 6, with a total jackpot of PHP107,506,074.20. Additionally, substantial jackpots in the Super Lotto 6/49, Grand Lotto 6/55, and Ultra Lotto 6/58 are still awaiting winners. The PCSO, established through Act 4130 passed by the Philippine Legislature on October 30, 1934, continues to play a vital role in providing assistance to Filipinos.
