Five students from Berakas Secondary School participated in the SEAMEO-Singapore Students Challenge, SSSC in the Republic of Singapore. The programme is organised by the Ministry of Education of Singapore in collaboration with the Science Centre Singapore and the SEAMEO Secretariat.
The competition is participated by outstanding students from SEAMEO countries at the secondary level. Themed "Sustainable and Resilient Communities", the programme is conducted through virtual workshop and a face-to-face challenge. The Berakas Secondary School team will present a project proposal paper titled 'Evaporative Cooling Suit'.
In addition, they also have the opportunity to participate in interactive activities, competitions and visits to schools and interesting places in Singapore. The programme aims to give students the opportunity to collaborate with students from SEAMEO countries in solving problems and be able to gain cross-cultural skills.
