Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre Launches Advanced Prosthetic and Orthotic Unit

PANTAI JERUDONG – The Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre (PJSC) has inaugurated a new Prosthetic and Orthotic Unit on Level 7, marking a significant expansion in its rehabilitative services. The launch event was presided over by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the new unit is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a Casting Room, Modification Room, Plastic Fabrication Room, Machine Room, Technician’s Workshop, Training Studio, and Assessment Rooms. This initiative is part of PJSC’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring prosthetic limbs and orthotic support through advanced technology and personalized care.
