Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute Celebrates Qur’an Memorization Achievement

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Institute marked the completion of the Qur’an memorization by its graduates with a Khatam Ceremony on the afternoon of August 3rd, coinciding with its 12th Haflut Takharruj.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The event, held at the Institute, celebrated the graduates of the ‘Aliyah Qiraat Diploma 2021-2024 study session who memorized all 30 chapters of the Al-Qur’an. Associate Professor Doctor Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, a member of the Institute’s Board and RA’ES of the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, attended the ceremony. The ceremony featured a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and verses by the graduands. Awang Haji Hardifadillah bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, was also present to witness the graduates’ achievements.
