National Youth Day Marked by Spiritual Ceremony in Brunei
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports organized a reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum to commemorate the 19th National Youth Day. The ceremony was dedicated to the late Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, his wife Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and their son His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.
According to Radio Television Brunei, The spiritual gathering included mass recitations of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Yasin and Tahlil, attended by representatives from Youth and Sports Associations, Mosques’ Youth, and other stakeholders. This ceremony reflects the nation’s respect and remembrance for its past leaders, reinforcing the cultural and religious heritage among the youth.
