Brunei-China Art and Visual Culture Festival Celebrates Bilateral Cultural Exchanges
GADONG — In celebration of His Majesty’s 78th birthday, the Embassy of The People’s Republic of China in Brunei, in collaboration with the Foreign Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipality and Huifong’s Art Gallery, launched the 2nd Brunei-China Art and Visual Culture Festival on August 3rd at the Baiduri Bank Headquarters. The event was attended by key figures including Pengiran Mohammad Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, Permanent Secretary for Sports at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Ambassador of China to Brunei, the festival underscores the deep cultural and artistic ties that have been a hallmark of Sino-Bruneian relations since the establishment of diplomatic links in 1991. The festival features a diverse array of artistic expressions including painting, calligraphy, wushu, and tea culture, and fosters exchanges between artists from both nations.
