Jerudong: Over 5,175 copies of the Mushaf Brunei Darussalam were distributed to 160 primary schools during the Distribution Ceremony of the Mushaf Brunei Darussalam for Year 4 pupils of Government and Private Primary Schools. This event took place at the Jerudong Religious School’s Hall on the morning of January 28th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the handover to the school representatives was officiated by Dayang Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil, Acting Director of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Mushaf, donated by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, is intended to ensure that each student has access to a copy of the Mushaf Brunei Darussalam. This initiative supports the learning of the Al-Qur’an, which begins in Year 4 of general schooling and continues until the Primary Six level of religious education.
