The Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB participated in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Cultural Activity, OICCA 2023 held until the 14th of July in Jakarta; Samarinda and Balikpapan, Indonesia.
KUPU SB is represented by Pengiran Siti Katijah binti Pengiran Sulaiman, Director of International Office and Public Relations and Nurul Atteyia Bahtriyah binti Md Salleh, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs Division. OICCA 2023 is organized to disseminate the Islamic values and teachings especially in the context of youth, culture and education.
The OICCA 2023 meeting included the highest level conference of OIC; dialogue session; forum; simulation session of youth diplomacy; special meetings between the University and agencies; cultural exhibitions and Halalan Tayyiban as well as visits to several mosques, madrasahs and cultural places in Indonesia. KUPU SB's participation in OICCA 2023 to support Brunei Darussalam's continuous contribution as a member of OIC, particularly in strengthening Muslim youth leadership through Education and Culture programs.
