Five units of weighing machines used for trading purposes were found to be compliant, precise and registered with Weights and Measures Unit, SDT inline with the Weights and Measures Act 1983 Chapter 151.
In a press release by the Industry and Business Ecosystem Division, IBE through the SDT Unit, SDT and Department of Economic Planning and Statistics, DEPS, Ministry of Finance and Economy, the findings were made during a monthly joint operation carried out at Syarikat Ampuan Mohd Yoslan bin Ampuan Haji Akop dan Anak-Anak, Syarikat Lakujaya Minimart, Syarikat Associated Agencies (Brunei) and Syarikat Seri Jasa, in Temburong District on the 20th of June. Meanwhile, a Warning Notice has been issued to Syarikat Seri Jasa for selling cooking oil above the set maximum price.
