Bandar seri begawan: The 33rd Southeast Asian Games commenced with an opening ceremony at the Rajamangala National Stadium on the night of December 9th. The event is set to run until December 20th, showcasing a variety of sports and cultural displays.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Brunei Darussalam is participating in nine sports events this year. The athletes from Brunei will compete in polo, taekwondo, aquatics, sepak takraw, karate, netball, wushu, pencak silat, and weightlifting. The games are expected to foster regional camaraderie and highlight athletic talents from across Southeast Asia.
