Observing Bandarku Ceria Programme

After joining the Cycling Recreation, His Majesty took a closer look at the lively atmosphere at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien during the Bandarku Ceria Program. Also present were His Majesty's sons, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.

Departments under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and private associations were among those joining the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the Department of Community Development, JAPEM featured products produced by the Senior Citizens Activity Centre, while quizzes and book sales were managed by the Language and Literature Bureau.

Also held were contemporary and traditional song performances by the Senandung Darussalam Traditional Orchestra, and tombstone casting by the Brunei History Centre.

Meanwhile, the 'Perguruan Silat Batawi Tiga' showcased a self-defence performance. Sepak takraw game was featured by the Pestabaru Association. 'Gasing' or top spinning by the Brunei Darussalam National Top Spin Association, PERGAB attracted His Majesty's attention. Another fascinating activity was the kite exhibition, featuring Brunei's traditional kites as well as kites from overseas.
