Post: New officials of BOI, AFAB take oath

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on Wednesday administered the oath of office to two new officials appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. According to a Facebook post by the Presidential Communications Office, Marjorie O. Ramos-Samaniego took her oath as the governor of the Board of Investments (BOI). The BOI, an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), is mandated to promote investments in the country. Former Lanao del Sur Representative Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman was also sworn in as Administrator of the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB). The AFAB, which is an agency under the Office of the President, is responsible for effectively managing the freeport area in Mariveles town, Bataan province.
