New Initiative Launched to Enhance Parking Accessibility for Disabled

Bandar Seri Begawan – A new initiative aimed at improving parking accessibility for people with physical disabilities was launched at the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Kampong Manggis Madang. The program, spearheaded by We.Kare—a team composed of six middle management officers from various government departments—focuses on advocating for proper parking usage to foster inclusivity.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Acting Director of Community Development, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the initiative targets building owners, including those of shopping centers and government buildings, encouraging them to enhance accessibility.

The launch event marks a significant step towards promoting equal access for all individuals, particularly in public and commercial spaces.
