Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei - A new book titled “Majlis Ilmu: Mercu Tanda Intelektualisme Raja Kita – Suluh Negara," focusing on the Knowledge Convention and the intellectual vision of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, was launched on November 23rd. The launch coincided with the opening of the Knowledge Convention 2023, part of the celebrations for His Majesty's 77th birthday.
According to Radio Television Brunei, The book chronicles the history of the Knowledge Convention since its inception in 2004. It aims to highlight His Majesty's leadership in promoting intellectualism and lifelong learning among the citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam. The book addresses critical issues such as food security and mental health and underscores the development of the Knowledge Convention in fortifying the intellect of the ummah and empowering Maqasid Shariah. This publication is expected to serve as a testament to His Majesty's efforts in spreading knowledge and fostering intellectual growth in the country.
