NBI Confirms Matching Fingerprints of Alice Guo and Guo Hua Ping

MANILA—Senator Risa Hontiveros revealed on Thursday that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has confirmed that Bamban Mayor Alice Guo and Guo Hua Ping have matching fingerprints.

According to the Philippines News Agency, this confirmation indicates that Guo and Guo Hua Ping are the same person. She stated that the findings support suspicions that Guo is a Chinese national posing as a Filipino citizen to facilitate crimes linked to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGOs). Hontiveros expressed gratitude to the NBI, headed by Director Jaime Santiago, for its swift action and urged the Office of the Solicitor General to expedite the filing of a quo warranto case against the suspended mayor.

“She should be made accountable for all the crimes she had committed. This is the strongest evidence to remove Mayor Alice from her post,” Hontiveros said. “This revelation is not the end. Guo Hua Ping, soon, we will know the full extent of your deception. We will dig deeper and locate the systemic roots of our POGO problem,” she added.
