Bandar seri begawan: The 2-day Innovation and Entrepreneurship Festival, InnovFest, which serves as a significant platform for encouraging research, innovation, and entrepreneurship at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), concluded with a ceremony on the afternoon of April 29th. The festival provides an opportunity for students and researchers to present their work, form strategic partnerships, and explore avenues for commercialization.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Doctor Annie Dayani binti Haji Ahad Abdullah, Director of the Office of the Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Industry Engagement and Enterprise Development at UBD, was present at the closing ceremony. This year's festival featured numerous projects focused on technology, sustainability, and digital solutions. Among these, 11 projects were highlighted as finalists for the "Startup Induction Grant," showcasing the innovative ventures developed through the UBD Incubation and Entrepreneurship Programme.
