Tutong: The 41st National Day celebration was marked by a spirited Motorcycle Convoy Activity, organized by the Kampung Tanjong Maya and Lubok Pulau Consultative Council in the Tutong District. This event took place on the afternoon of 24th February, as part of the ongoing efforts to boost national patriotism.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the convoy attracted over 30 local participants from Kampung Tanjong Maya and Lubok Pulau, as well as more than 50 motorcyclists from other districts, creating a vibrant and engaging event. The 160-kilometer journey concluded with a warm reception from Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, the Acting Tutong District Officer. A flag hoisting ceremony was also part of the day's celebrations.
Earlier in the day, B-TOP Motors Sendirian Berhad organized a separate motorcycle convoy. This 41-kilometer ride involved 25 motorcyclists traveling from Beribi to Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas. The annual event, a staple of the National Day celebrations, is designed to strengthen bonds among motorcycle enthusiasts.
