Nadwah Promotes Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah for National Unity and Stability
Bandar Seri Begawan: The appreciation of Islam based on the Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah school of thought is a pillar of religious harmony and national well-being in Brunei Darussalam. In fact, the belief of Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah is the main core that plays a role in achieving the nation’s goals and will undoubtedly have a lasting positive impact in unifying the ummah and the stability of the country. The matters included in the ‘Nadwah of Strengthening the Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah School of Thought Three’, in conjunction with the 41st National Day Celebration was held at As-Salaam Mosque, Kampung Junjongan, 19th February night.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present was Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Mohamed, a Member of the Legislative Council and Associate Professor Doctor Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, Ra’es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB. The Nadwah themed ‘Bersatu Mencapai Cita Negara’ was organized by the Center of Research for Understanding of Ahli Sunnah Waljama’ah, KUPU SB; Mazhab Shafi’i Research Centre, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA; As-Salaam Mosque Kampung Junjongan; As-Salaam Mosque Youth and Women Association in Kampung Junjongan.
