Brunei Muara District – The Murattal Al-Qur'an Reading Competition for Mosque Muslimah, featuring participants aged 55 and above, was held at Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Datin Dayang Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Asbi, wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs, attended the event, which saw the participation of 14 Muslimah from the Brunei Muara District.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the competition, organized by the Masjid Universiti's takmir committee in collaboration with the Muslimah Affairs Division, Mosque Affairs Department, was held for the first time in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration.
