BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - The Public Works Department has announced several temporary road closures across the country due to ongoing maintenance and upgrade works. The closures include the slip-road at Jalan Perdana Menteri towards Jalan Menteri Besar and part of the lane after the Tungku flyover until the Muara Tutong Highway Flyover.
According to Radio Television Brunei, These closures are necessary for landscape upgrading by the Environment, Parks and Recreation Department and for drainage maintenance works. Road users are advised to follow the diversion routes and heed all road signs and speed limits. Additional closures will affect the Tungku Highway, Rimba bound from July 9 to July 11, for road repair works.
