‘Muallaf Mantap’ Programme Convocation

The new converts or muallafs are hoped to continue striving to improve their Islamic knowledge and practices in a way that is understood, followed and practiced in the country. In that way, those of different religions will also do the same to preserve the harmony of family and neighborhood life in mutual respect for Islam as the country’s official religion. The Minister Of Religious Affairs hopes that the Islamic Da’wah Centre through the New Converts Development Division and the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat will continue to actively plan and implement programmes to strengthen and further increase the resilience of the new converts.

Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman stated the matter at the Muallaf Mantap Programme Convocation Ceremony and the Presentation of Certificates of Completion of the Muallaf Guidance Scheme. 151 participants received the certificates. They are 37 youth new converts who joined and completed the Mantap Muallaf Programme and 114 new converts from four districts who have completed the Second Advanced Guidance Scheme in 2022.
