Bandar Seri Begawan – The Ministry of Religious Affairs is intensifying its efforts to enhance understanding of the principles of Maqasid Syari’ah, with a recent briefing focused on Maqasid Syariah in management and administration. Held at the official residence of the Belait District Officer on the morning of November 11th, the briefing targeted Mukim Penghulus, Village Heads, and Heads of Long Houses in the Belait District.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Md Salleh, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, joined the session. The briefing aimed to strengthen the implementation of Maqasid Syariah principles in organizational management and administration. It also sought to raise awareness and appreciation of these principles across the country, contributing to a deeper understanding and application of Islamic teachings in various aspects of governance and community leadership.
