Ministry of Health Celebrates Nuzul Al-Qur’an with Orphans Donation Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Health organized a Nuzul Al-Qur’an Celebration, Khatam Al-Qur’an, and Donation Presentation Ceremony for orphans in conjunction with Ramadhan. The event, a collaboration between the Department of Environmental Health Services and the Department of Renal Services, took place at Dewan Al-‘Afiah, Ministry of Health, on the morning of 22nd March.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the reading of Al-Qur’an verses and Surah Al-Fatihah. The recitation was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, who was acting as the Minister of Health. This was followed by the Khatam Al-Qur’an.

During the event, 34 orphans of the ministry’s staff were presented with donations. Additionally, a prize presentation was held for the winner of the Al-Qur’an Reading Competition organized for the Ministry of Health.
