Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports organized a Tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum in observance of the 20th National Youth Day celebration. The ceremony involved the recitation of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. National Youth Day is commemorated annually on August 1st to recognize the contributions of the youth movement in the nation.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Additionally, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, was also in attendance.
