Post: Messages of Congratulations Pour in for Brunei Darussalam’s 41st National Day

Bandar Seri Begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, was the recipient of numerous congratulatory messages from various Foreign Heads of State and Government as Brunei Darussalam celebrated its 41st National Day.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the messages of congratulations came from a diverse array of leaders across the globe, highlighting the nation's esteemed position in the international community. Among those who extended their well wishes was His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, underscoring the close ties between the two neighboring countries.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, along with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent their felicitations, reflecting the strong bilateral relations between Brunei and Saudi Arabia.

Other notable monarchs who sent congratulatory notes included His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand, and His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. European royalty, such as His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom, His Majesty King Harald of Norway, His Majesty King Philippe of Belgium, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, and His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain, also joined in the celebrations.

Presidents from various countries also conveyed their congratulations, including His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of Singapore, and His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of China, further emphasizing the global diplomatic relationships Brunei maintains.
