JALAN KEBANGSAAN: In a significant step towards fostering rehabilitation through the arts, the Aftercare Support Association (AFSA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Medley House Productions. The ceremony, held this afternoon, aims to develop and nurture the theatrical talents of inmates, providing them with valuable skills and opportunities for personal growth.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the signing was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, a Member of the Legislative Council, who witnessed the event. The MoU is designed not only to enhance inmates' acting abilities but also to aid in building a more positive self-identity. Dayang Hajah Juhana binti Haji Mohd Jaya, AFSA's president, was also present at the ceremony, underscoring the organization's commitment to supporting inmates through creative initiatives.
