A local man was detained for further investigation for possessing contraband during a roadblock conducted by the Royal Brunei Police Force, RBPF in Kampung Beribi, 9th September night.
According to the RBPF’s press release, the 34-year-old man was found to be in possession of 74 cartons and 7 packs of cigarettes of various brands in his vehicle. The suspect and the contraband were handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department for further investigation.
